Home Addition – Closet Redesign

Today at our Andover renovation the granite counter top is being installed for the new master bath. Our plumber is there overseeing the installation of it, making sure that the holes for the faucet and valves are put in the correct place. After this is installed he will hook up the new Kohler Forte faucets that the home owner picked out. Once this is completed the only step left will be installing the glass shower doors in the new bathroom.
The other part of the addition is a walk in closet off the master bedroom. The original design for the closet included a bar to hang cloths on and a shelf above it for more storage. However, once the designs were executed the home owners thought that they would need additional shelves to hold their cloths. To accomplish this the designers added in two more towers of cubbies, one next to the door and one in the far corner. To help accommodate the home owners shoes they added four custom shoe shelves underneath the window in the closet which are slanted back so that the shoes will stay organized.
After the plans for the new closet were finished we had one of our finish carpenters install the changes over the next two days. The new carpentry was painted yesterday and the closet was finished. Due to having our own designers on staff and our own carpenters we were able to redesign the closet and put in the new shelves without a delay to the overall project. This is just one of the advantages to working with Andover Renovation Solutions compared to a regular general contractor.
